Caring starts here & begins with Y.O.U
We understand that seeking a therapist is a big step toward your healing journey, and there is not a one – size - fits - all to therapy. Y.O.U can expect our sessions to be held in a warm, safe, and inviting atmosphere or the comfort and convenience of your own home via tele-health.
We will spend a few sessions building a sound therapeutic alliance and trust. We also encourage a space where you can share your reason for seeking therapy and any stressors relevant to Y.O.U. Once a sound foundation is developed, we work together to create an individualized plan for change.
We are a mental health and wellness organization offering therapeutic services in the following states:
DC, MD, VA, NC, LA, & TX.
Y.O.U HH&WC is a valued partner with many leading insurance & healthcare providers.
Current in-network insurance providers:
No Surprises Act (H.R. 133)
Beginning January o1, 2022, the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133) requires healthcare providers, facilities, health plans, and insurers to provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of expected charges to uninsured and self-pay clients. Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA), health care providers and facilities are required to inform uninsured individuals, individuals not enrolled in a Federal health care program or self-pay clients, both orally and in writing, of their ability to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges upon request or upon scheduling an item or service.
Note: The PHSA and GFE does not currently apply to individuals who are using insurance benefits, including out-of-network benefits
You have a right to dispute any amount charged to you exceeding $400 beyond the estimated costs. If you feel you were wrongly billed, you may start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
